NEXA Lending FAQ for Loan Officers

These are the questions retail and consumer-direct loan officers ask me most.

Frequently asked questions

What is NEXA Lending?

NEXA Lending, formerly NEXA Mortgage, is a large U.S. mortgage brokerage whose loan officers broker loans to many wholesale and correspondent lenders.

How much do NEXA loan officers make?

NEXA loan officers are commission-only. Under NEXA100, loans typically price up to 275 bps, with 220 bps paid as cash comp and up to 55 bps credited to a business-expense ledger. Confirm current terms.

Does NEXA provide leads?

No. NEXA loan officers generate their own business, often with tools and training from their sponsoring team.

Can I work remotely at NEXA?

Yes. NEXA loan officers set their own schedules and can work from anywhere they’re licensed to originate.

Is NEXA W-2 or 1099?

Loan officers can choose either W-2 or 1099.

How do I join NEXA?

Choose a sponsor, register through their onboarding link, complete your contracts, transfer your NMLS license, and finish training.

Who should I join at NEXA?

Choose a sponsor who offers direct mentorship, covers onboarding costs, and includes lead-generation tools. Ciaara’s team offers all three.
